Dalamar observed the two jars in satisfaction. The fairies floated in the middle of the air within them, their eyes closed and breathing easy, faint white glows filling the jars around them. They would spend this time in a deep, deep sleep, not even dreaming, and would not need to eat or drink. Their fey magic may cause their hair to continue to grow, but other than that, they would be unchanged, not aging (not that fairies aged with any amount of speed). When he woke them up, though he had no idea when that would be, they would take a very long time to become coherent again. In fact, it was possible that, if left in stasis for too long, they would not really regain coherency at all. But he wasn't too concerned about that.
