On Dalamar's end, all he did was go on a half-hour walk into the woods, lift the stasis spell, and let them slide out of their jars and into a bed of flowers. There they lay, not even truly conscious yet, and there he left them, not expecting ever to see them again. From their end, they woke up in a daze amid beautiful yellow giants twice their height, and they felt deep familiarity towards each other but no conscious recognition. They touched each other's faces dazedly and without restraint, mumbling incomprehensibly. They had been asleep for ten years, and remembered nothing with clarity, not even their names, let alone what they had been looking for when they left Blueleaf. Time passed, but they were permanently damaged by their long slumber. Their clothes of leaves and petals crumbled over a period of a few days, but they lacked the awareness necessary to craft new garments. They gradually began to recall the basics of taking care of themselves, such as finding food and drink, but nothing more refined. They lived their days in dull bliss, never quite ascending to intelligent thought, but enjoying each other's company all the same. Years passed like this.
