"Hey you!" somebody yells from down below. Its the guards! You had
forgotten all about those. Your slip and find yourself falling, only to
go into a ninja roll as you hit the ground. You skid across the grass to
land in front of the guards. "Princess Annabeline! What's the meaning of this?" one of the guards says, drawing his sword. "Are you in some danger?" "My father, he means to kill me!" you say in a moment of inspiration. "Please help me escape!" "Why that is madness!" the other guard scoffs. "The King, trying to kill his beloved daughter? Put away that sword, Enrique, we must bring the confused princess back to her father at once." "No, I see it now!" Enrique yells, suddenly enraged. "With both queen and princess out of the way, the king is free to marry his foreign mistress and cheat the House of Sultifex out of its rightful titles! I wont let that happen!" "You're mad, Enrique," the other guard says, and then suddenly falls upon him with sword drawn. Steel clashes on steel as the guards circle each other and snarl like beasts fighting over their prey. You hear more screams from above you and across the lawn. More people are coming with swords and torches. Looking around for a weapon you spot one of the guards' pike axes, carelessly laid down during their watch.
