You quietly take the pike axe in your hands and, sneaking up behind the
other man.............. miss him entirely. You do, however, give Enrique enough of an opening to thoroughly defeat his opponent. "Thanks, mi'lady!", he says, "Now, come!" He grabs you by the hand and leads you to the stables, cutting through shadows and trees to avoid the approaching mob of people. You finally arrive at the stables, although your small, delicate feet hurt from the hard ground and sharp rocks you had to step on the entire trip. You really wish you'd brought some shoes now! He hands you the simple outfit and cap of a stable boy. "Put these on, Lady Annabeline. I will find something more fitting later, but we must avoid anyone recognizing you." Of course you don't let him know it, but you are incredibly relieved to be back in pants instead of frilly dresses. After you get dressed you find that Enrique has prepared a horse for each of you. "We must make haste! They will be looking for you, but I know of a safe haven for you, mi'lady!"
