If you can manage to escape, then perhaps the real Princess will be the
one who will take the rap for the maid's death. Considering the crimes
that she seems to have committed, you find it hard to feel sorry for her.
That won't happen unless you can get away before the door into the room is broken down, though. So you quickly slip out of the window and start climbing down the vine trellis that you had climbed up not all that many hours ago. Going down should be easier than going up, you hope. As against that, you are no longer as strong as you were in your rightful body. But you manage to get down as far as about ten feet from the ground before:
