Friends with Benefits

We spend the rest of the night together, talking for hours between rounds of lovemaking. Baras seems nice enough and is willing to open up to me. He's only 24, a year older than I am, and already a leader. Apparently being appointed chief bodyguard has set him rather apart from his fellows, and he lacks friends to talk to. I offer him my friendship, with "benefits".

As the months wear on, Baras and I continue to see each other as frequently as my schedule allows, typically once or twice a week. Our relationship is something of an open secret amongst the rest of the house staff. Gustav either remains unaware, or chooses to turn a blind eye to it, so long as it dosen't interfere with his clients' access to me.

For me, the friendship is an angle, one that I hope to exploit to eventually off Gustav. It also has an unexpected benefit: Early on, I convinced Baras to talk to some of my old friends at the brothel, to secretly supply me with some of Scarlet's elixir. So, I've been able to avoid getting pregnant again, despite my dubious lifestyle.

For his part, Baras seems to be developing feelings for me. He seems to get angry now whenever he sees me with a client. Despite being fiercely loyal to Gustav, he's otherwise a good person and I feel bad manipulating his emotions, but if it helps me kill Gustav, then I will do so without hesitation.

Several months pass...

1. The time has come, I am finally prepared to make my move and kill Gustav.
2. One day, Baras sees an important client mistreating me. He snaps and breaks the man's neck. "What have I done? Gustav will have me killed for sure! Harry, come on, let's escape this place together!"
3. One day, Gustav summons me to his office. "A very special client was quite pleased with your services recently. I have decided to give you to him as a gift."
