"Well Baras, you're welcome to spend as much time as you like with me," I say. "I hope that we can become friends. Would you like to talk? Or would you rather... do something else?"

1. Somewhat to my surprise, he seems happy to just talk. Apparently being appointed chief bodyguard has set him rather apart from his fellows, and he lacks friends to talk to.
2. "Something else," he says. His hand goes behind me and fumbles with the catch of my skimpy top. I have the impression that he doesn't have much experience with this sort of thing.
