Give love a chance

Charlie is beavering away at his magical works, but seems to be making little progress as the weeks pass. When she asks him how things are going the reply makes her believe that her current form will sustain for longer than Fred would wish

It soon becomes clear to Susan that she by denying her feelings for Alfred she is simply making herself miserable. Even though she was once a noble knight she is now a simple young woman with the desires that naturally come to such a person. If it makes her miserable to not see Alfred then why not see him again and see where things go.

That Friday Susan invites Alfred for a nice supper, having sent Charlie out on a mission that would keep him away for a couple of days.

1. Alfred is the perfect gentleman, frustratingly for Susan
2. Susan's desires turn to lust for her handsome guest
3. Fred makes a desperate bid to try and stop anything happening with Alfred
