Out Of The Flying Tunnel And Into The Fire

The tube tilted straight up and increased it's speed. Astra grunted with the effort of hanging on. Fred prayed he wouldn't let go and doom them both. A bright light filled the tunnel and Fred realized they had broken out into daylight.

Suddenly, the tube righted. The three were flung upwards, then they slammed back down. Astra was stunned senseless. Fred was knocked out. Only Velus saw the three black-clad humanoids appear at the end of the tunnel.

"We seem to have injured sentients inside our transport shuttle." the middle one said.
The one on the right raised a hand. "Take them for treatment. Then interrogation. We'll see what's going on here. Gaurd them well, they might be spies of the cursed dragon." At that word, all three spit on the floor.

Velus had been wondering whether to trust these creatures. Then he saw that the spit was eating through the stone!
Velus wriggled out from under Lord Fred and skedaddled as fast as his little doggy legs could take him.

Many months of skulking around the dragon's caves, getting food for others and passing info served Velus well in the next few hours. He managed to succesfully sneak his way around this strange new castle that had armor plating for walls instead of stone. And just how did they make those little glass bulbs light up?
Lord Fred and Astra are currently sleeping off their injuries, locked up in a room with eighteen beds.

1. Velus spies on some of the black clad people in order to gather more info.
2. Velus is captured.
3. As Velus keeps an eye on his friends, the King enters the room!
4. Fred and Astra come round.
