Bait and Switch?

When you get to the dais, you see that there is indeed a woman sleeping there. She is beautiful, and very shapely, but her hair is golden, not the flaming red of Astra’s hair in the legends. Your heart sinks. These aren’t Astra and Velus. Still, you decide to rouse them anyway. You step toward the dais, and realize the marks are some sort of pictographs of a kind you’d not familiar with. “Hey!” you yell. “Wake up!”

At this, the woman and the dog both begin to stir. The woman gets on all fours, runs across the bridge, and begins to sniff you. Satisfied that you are not a threat, she backs away, but still watches you cautiously. “Sorry about that,” says the dog, trotting over toward you. “My dog and I were captured by an evil wizard, an ally of the Dragon, who switched our bodies.”

1. The woman (in a dog's body) introduces herself as Lyra, daughter of the Intendant of Gana, and her dog as Termagant.
2. The woman (in a dog's body) introduces herself as Belinda, sister of Astra, and her dog as Aurora.
3. Before you can catch the woman's name, something terrible appears.
