The Bottomless Cavern

You decide to search them out anyway and head down a passage to your right.
About five hundred feet in it opens up to an extraordinarily large area. You feel a vague sensation of deja-vu as you look around.

The path itself spreads out to a bridge that is about a hundred feet wide. It goes forward for five hundred feet until it stops at a black stone dias with various objects piled on it. The dias is about fifty feet wide and it has various white designs painted on it. Other bridges leading to other caverns branch off from the dias at random spots. There are twelve others in all. Small paths criss-cross back and forth between the large bridges.
You tip-toe over to the edge of your path and look over. The only support is the column under the black stone area. It goes down and down and down...and you're getting dizzy. Better back away. You're not sure you want to advance any farther because the bridges have no visible support.

Wait a second! The things on the dias aren't just things! There's a clothed woman up there with a dog sleeping on her chest! What is going on?

What do you do now?

1. You go to the dias.
2. You attempt to rouse the two from the safety of the tunnel.
3. You go towards the dias. Halfway there, the bridges start breaking apart.
4. You go to the dais. (Alternate version.)
