The Message

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 12553

As the cork came loose with a loud POP!, Fred paused to wonder if an exclamation point could properly be followed by a comma. He did not consider this matter long, however, as a roll of paper inside the bottle suddenly grasped his attention. He pulled it out and read it.

The message said,

  1. To Sir Fred: The dragon has been slain. Your quest is at an end. Please return home for debriefing. No further expenses will be covered by the King at this time.
  2. Wanted Dead or Alive: Robert Billingsely, alias Sir Robert Cecil. Crimes: Murder, Theft, General Nastiness. Should be considered ugly and dangerous.
  3. HELP!!! I am stranded on a desert island with no food, water, or beautiful natives. Please hurry!
  4. Dear Fred. Do you like me? Check __ yes or __ no. Alexis
  5. Say no to drugs.
