The Never Ending Quest - Episode 1029

Fred attempted to jimmy the lock with his handy-dandy lock-picking kit (i.e., one bent pin and a rusty nail) but he had never been a thief by profession, rather a warrior, so he had no idea of what he was doing. When a strange click sound reached his ears, he drew back violently, but nothing happened. Thinking that he had better quit while he was ahead, before he set off some nasty trap or something, Fred stopped trying and glared at the door in exasperation.

  1. He tried to take the door down by brute force.
  2. He tried to find a thief to unlock it.
  3. He tried to find a wizard to blast it to smithereens or something, hoping along the way to discover exactly what a "smithereen" was.
