The Never Ending Quest - Episode 1030

Lord Fred backed up and ran full tilt at the door. He hit it with his left elbow and something fell and smashed and the door swung wide open. Lord Fred stumbled inside, crunching pieces of glass between his feet.

Velus followed him in, carefully stepping past the large pieces.
The sun shone brightly through a cloudy but warm summer day. A fair spread out ahead of him. To the right, laughing children were being led around on minature horses. To the left, more kids slipped and slid on watered down rubber. Ahead stalls line a beaten down path, selling all manner of sweets and delectable foods.

Fred turned around. The door back to the caves was still open, but it was set in a man sized building. It was some sort of portal!
