Rei ”Zhaan?!” both Crichton and Aeryn Sun shot in shock. Sigh, I knew that this was going to happen. Just couldn’t see it NOT happening somehow, this particular way. See, it's kind of something of a kiss/curse Dark tower thing. I think so, anyway. This is how things seem to go whenever us Champions stumble upon a reality that mimics (or vice versa) an Earth TV show. Can be disconcerting at times. Annoying at times. And at times it can really save a person's bacon! Should know, being that it had been my "bacon" saved and... . . . OH forget it already! Wasting too much time as it is complaining about inanities and strolling down memory lane when we REALLY should be doing other things here, damnit. Hm, still I have to wonder just how it is that Zhaan doesn’t’ appear to realize that something screwy is going on here with the timeline. I mean she and Stark were able to remember things that had happened before that time reset in the episode “The Locket”. Why didn’t Zhaan notice this particular reset while Aeryn knows that something’s amiss. Surprised that Stark isn’t screaming about it all over the coms himself. Something for later to sort out. Priorities Rei! ”They’ll explain later but the reason for the delay was wormhole serpents interrupted Crichton and Aeryn’s attempts at their assigned task!” I shout over the coms, butting in on my OWN com--ala Star Trek Next Gen--badge. Glad I’d learned my combadge can do that with Farscapian Coms. Time well spent while hanging with “my” John Critchon so long ago on a lark.... “Uh . . .right,” Crichton stutters, looking at me and then turning back to addressing Zhaan on the other end of the line. “Was either run or end up as snake chow, Zhaan.” “I see...,” Zhaan says softly, after apparently absorbing what John just said. “So with very good reason you failed Moya again, I see. “It couldn’t be helped,” she adds softly, if only to herself. “But whatever the case I fear that our failure may have doomed her no matter who’s feet the fault lay.” John Crichton “Maybe not . . . I’ve got a few ideas so don’t count Moya out yet,” I mutter, glancing at the anime girl triplets over yonder. . . . Yes, I kinda now believe them about at least some of the stuff these three winged girls told me... Had been teeter tottering between what to believe exactly, but it kinda got pushed more to the "belief" side, now. . . . Go far enough on the ol’ wormhole interstate highway and you’ll find anything/ what wit it being a shortcut through space/time. Even to other timelines where a wacked out robot anime with Christian/Judeo overtones actually exists in real life. Where they actually have King Kong sized mecha robots and Tokyo keeps getting attacked by rejects from a Godzilla movie. Hm, got to wonder where Rei (and her analogs) got the personality transplant? I mean, wow, like she was all . . . Queen of the dead or something’ in the movie (almost zomblie like in a way . . .especially when you figure about that one part near the end where body parts started falling off her). Shit, that was weird to watch. Mustta been really weird for it to have been happening to her...even IF she didn’t show it in her expressions. I do happen to know that there had to have been something more going on in her head their than being just a emotionless puppet. I mean how else would she have dissed Gendo Akari (her creator) near the end to help that wuss, Shin... Uh . . .better not call her brother that to her face. She doesn’t look like she’d take insults to family too well at all. Probably shove a lightning bolt up somewhere I’d rather it not go. No thanks. Heh, actually that's when I started to believe them a bit MORE than I had before. I mean, come ON, that claim to be able to use magic had been a bit . . .out there back in those woods (even IF it kinda fit the setting). But with those blasts they did from their hands?! Well, kinda believe that there is at least something to it. Psionic super powers misnamed maybe, but something all the same. Yes, and it kinda gave more credence to everything else. Not totally, but... . . . Anyway, also havta wonder where they got the wings and all that. And when did they go and become magic girls?! They already had a talking cat: Aslan (even IF it was a very BIG pussycat/lion talking cat). I swear if one oft hem starts going on and on about love and justice or some dren like that I’m OTTA here!! Liked “Sailor Moon” for how good some of the girls looked in a fuku, but hated just about everything else in that cornball... “As for the girls here . . .Uh . . .,” I stammer, not sure how to begin. I mean this is weird even by Uncharted standards, damnit. “They’re good and all. I kinda met them while . . .I got sucked down the wormhole here. It . . .er . . .well you see . . .” “Mind if I take a stab at it John?” the white haired girl named Lilith asks, coming to my rescue. “On the move, of course. We DO have a Leviathan and Zhaan to save here.”
