The Never Ending Quest - Episode 75839

Lilith

Well . . .we are here and I and my sisters just slew a vile serpent that apparently was harrassing a couple of the crew here by the looks of it. Was sure hostile enough to warrent us using lethal force. Still...

Sometimes it frightens me how synched I and my sisters are now to each other. Take for instance the spells we just popped off here to drop this monster that had been harassing Crichton and by the looks of it Aeryn Sun? I naturally used a small "lightning bolt" spell. Nice and elegant spell. Doesn't have the "splash damage" of a fireball, spreading havoc all over the place (into places one may not want it).

I and my sisters went to some lengths to not mirror each other on our spellbooks. Having three of the same kinds of spell repository isn't a good idea. Broader base and all that to shore up the party when one set just won't or cannot do. We cover the demands of situation better that way.

Still, of all the spells my sisters cast that could have worked I figure that I shouldn't be surprised they'd cast lightning as well.

Side effect of synching with EVA unit 00 and those soulless husks (the spare Reis). It’s kind of creepy at times how close I’ve become to my sisters in many ways. Hadn’t always been that way but then again . . .wouldn’t trade it for the world!

It means beyond shared dreams I shall never be lonely again. Always a sister there in your heart, linked. Two to be exact: Rei and Reika.

"Snakes . . .why did it have to be snakes?" Reika mutters, gesturing slightly at the now twitching serpent at our feet. Stupid thing just got decapitated by the energy shields of that ship that Crichton and (I believe) Aeryn Sun are holed up in here.

By the looks of it at least one of them is as surprised to find us here as we are. I mean come ON, Aslan said we’d be going back I know but I had thought we’d at least have ended UP on our ship and link up with Moya on the OUTSIDE of the wormhole. Or should I say the Moya that John had left behind before being sucked INTO this womrhole.

No, instead we find ourselves in the Moya which was fused with a Pathfinder spacehip by the looks of things. AND if we really want to fly our little ship we inherited from that idiot captain we’d better get the Pathfinder ship unstuck.

As an aside we cannot leave until the dead is done, as it were. The blasted thing is fused in some critical point over yonder in the bay area. Oh, ships can get in and out but the exit so it’s not blocking. It’s just stuck and stuck good!

. . .

Hm, had a very NICE thought here. Despite ending up in unexpected places it also means we get to do something rather nice? I know that Ragan and Betty were really “amped” when they’d been able to cure one of Auntie Chiana’s sisters of their blindness

Does this mean we get a shot at saving Zhaan here? I recall that this situation we find ourselves in (the fused Moya and all these snakes) happened in the Farscape episode: called Self-Inflicted Wounds-Wait For The Wheel.

Cool! Have a few ideas on how we might just manage it at that!

Didn’t say it’ll be easy, but we sisters have brainstormed a lot about it after seeing this episode...

That said, I and the others now have to wait quietly as it appears that Aeryn Sun wish to speak with us...and perhaps Critchon as well being that she’ seems to be wondering just how he has come to be wearing a spacesuit and all. Where before he’d been unarmed and decidedly UNPREPARED for walking about outside in the vacuum. We seem to have top dibs though in her curiosity.

Lord knows I have questions about this situation and her...

“Who the frell are you and how did you get on Moya?” Aeryn Sun demanded, storming out of D’Argo’s spaceship with pulse pistol drawn and at the ready. “While we’re at it . . .”

She suddenly blinks, with a confused look on her face...

“Wait . . . I was on the bridge and that damn wormhole had just swallowed you up . . .,” she mutters to herself, looking over at Crichton. Not enough to totally ignore us (we’re covered by her raygun still), but she’s suddenly decidedly less hostile (more like befuddled).

“Oh dear,” Rei mutters. “Please tell me those Ancients didn’t do what I think they did here....”

Before I can ask sister Rei what she’s thinking is happening here a female voice interrupts us all. Two pair of eyes of the resident Moyan dwellers go wide as I and my nod slightly despite the still rather tense nature of things here. Looks like things are still somewhat going according to script, I believe.

  1. “Why hasn't anyone vented Tier Four's airbladders?” Zhaan asks angrily over the coms as we remember her asking on the TV show.
