Aaron "Actually, there is this one chap," Minestus begins, warming to the subject (though I see he still has questions). "Former knight named Fred…" Chap here sounds rather proud of his work, I'll give him that but I'll be truthful and let you know here and now I do NOT care for him in the least! However, being that I have some training in dealing with those who I find less than tolerable (part of “the package” that having been a prince) I do not say or do anything too overt to offend this objectionable (if powerful) dragon mage here. Story he tells pretty much jibs with what we’d expected here on this Quest, but there is just ONE detail that I keep on hanging on. One thing that I find I must bring up, if only because . . . “Pardon me,” I ask in what I hope is a polite voice. “But what of Princess Astra?” After Fred had been teleported away and transformed, we’d heard nothing more about that chained up princess . . . Well, that causes a little bit of tension until something is arranged. Frankly, after the time served for crimes attempted against his person (i.e. the native Astra's failed attempts at dragonslaying), Minestus agrees to release her over to her "relative" (obvious, now that he looks at the red haired young woman) to eventually get taken back to her native lands (with the understanding that stepping back into his realm will forfiet her life). Basically, being that Aqualaria isn't as xenophogic as Allaria by FAR, the dragon figures that he'll be lenient with the native Astra. Besides, he has plans for that section of his lair. Redecorating. Questions that Minestus might have to why blood relationships to the Royals of Aqualaria would be slumming, dirtying their hands with playing merchant go unasked. Frankly, Minestus doesn't care. Nothing is said about that one. The Champions are just happy enough to get the native Astra away from Minestus' clutches. Goodness, too much longer and the native Astra might be transformed into a throw rug or something!! Still naked, the magically unconsious Amazon princess is floated out and left at the Champion's feet. Figuring (correctly) that the princess might ask some awkward questions if immediately awoken then and their, they opt instead ot haul her off well away from Minestus' lands and THEN awaken her! At least before they awake her the females of the group (figuring that it's best for a female touch) they dress her in some spare outfits. What do they plan on doing with her after she awakes remains to be seen. Right now, our awakened princess. . . .
