Minestus has a really wicked sense of humor.... witty, almost....

Too bad the joke has been played out too many times to my liking. Then again, it's almost forgivable. How could the native Minestus know that this "joke" has been played out on so MANY of her analog sisters throughout the multiverse?

Time to bow to the absurd because we're not going to be able to do anything particularly effective about reversing this. It's that kind of change... The "permanent" Matrix kind not even a Crystallic can undo kind...

Yes, various Minestuses out there in the multi-verses seemed to be prone to do that to people about, eh? Guess the trend continues even WITH a Minestus not out to make himself a god. Whatta great joke, except for that little blip....

I'm being sarcastic, by the way....

As for my co-wife's voice....it's anger tinged like I'd said. Minestus had not only been playing with the native Astra here (one last EVERLASTING swipe at her for daring have attempted to slay him), but at the rest of us humans as well (and perhaps for the non-humans as well, for daring to stoop so low as to associate with humans).

But I fear (or perhaps rejoice, do not rather care for Minestus) that the last joke is on him. Rather lethal . . .

No, we'll touch on that here in a moment.

Cannot say that the Dragon of my Southern Caverns had been terribly witty. Had actually been a beast, truth be told! Mere animal, really. That and on the puny side, to be truthful now that I’ve come to know how large the sentient dragons of Terra Prime can grow.

Lets see. Tally now brings the Astra clan of Eternity Inc to 32 back on Terra Prime. OH, all of them had started out as human, but only a handful (like my co-wife) have NEVER had their forms altered, I shall have you know. But to make it simpler we shall keep to simple matters. Shall keep to those who are as they are now, and not what they had been (or managed to return to what they had been). Made up of a grand total of 32 people of various races: 19 human women, 2 demifoxes lasses, 9 elves (2 "regular" elfin Terra Prime lass, 5 "proto-Dark Elfin" lasses, 1 "Light Elf" MAN), 1 centauress, and 1 pixy lass.

And now this!

The native Astra, upon awakening from her magical sleep cried out in surprise as apparently Minestus uses whatever he uses to transform people with (probably a local version of the Crystallic, at a guess. Don't know for sure, I'm no magic weaver). She shrieks and squirms, disappearing into her clothing (Minestus must have decided against disappaearing clothing).

Out crawls a MALE pixie!!

Hm, guess God does have a sense of humor. That or fate is trying to make up for the decided low number of trangendered Astras back on Terra Prime. Try to catch up with all those transgendered Freds....

If things were different, I'd roll my eyes in disgust. It's almost all (love besotted pixie especially) so cliche almost!!

Well, whatever. The new pixie male (six inches tall at a guess) has flame red hair, but beyond that nothing to hint at her . . .uh . . . his former race (and gender). His jaw drops as he looks down at his new, naked body but then grows glassy eyed (and rather dopey looking) as a familiar looking image. Fear that I know what the little hearts appearing all over the place . . . means our numbers just went up one. Have talked with the fairies of our family to know what that means. The male pixie (formerly named Astra Thessamer and only God knows what now) just had a Fate call or whatever (love affairs of the heart are much different affairs than human) just called . . .and I KNOW this female our newly transformed one is seeing here!

But the mind BOGGLES at the mechanics which would be involved in . . .

Uh, forget it.... Just wonder just HOW this union's going to work out, all considered...

But that's only HALF of the fun. It gets MORE interesting. Must say that it appears that the Seelie Court (King Oberon in particular) is getting a lot QUICKER at dimensional hops or whatever, because . . .they're suddenly here by all appearances.

"What in the name of G. . ." Aaron begins, staring around him. Only a sharp poke to the kidneys keeps him from completing would be rather painful (and ANNOYING) to some rather powerful entities you just do NOT want ticked off at you.
