Ragan
Sigh. After all the bizarre diversions we've already taken from the
TV show (and, boy, have they been even more bizarre than usual!), I would
have thought we could at least avoid this bit of canonical unpleasantness.
But Leela is Leela, after all, she's just met someone who she's been told
since childhood is the sworn enemy of her people, and I suppose it's only
natural that she's feeling a bit, um... defensive.
As she drops to her knees, I find myself shouting "Hey, stop it!" at
the annoying Vulcan-wannabe in the stupid costume.
Oops. Shouldn't have said that. It seems I've annoyed him. I feel an
oppressive sort of... something pushing against my mind. My muscles
go rigid and my legs collapse under me. I'm trying to fight it, trying
to remember whether I've been taught a spell to deal with this, but my
mind is feeling fuzzy. Very, very fuzzy... Suddeny, I'm on the floor next
to Leela, without quite realizing how I got there...

My last thought
before I black out is that I really hope my "sister" remembers what
happened next in the TV show and warns the Doctor against letting the Tesh
carry us off...
