Having left all my clothes in the operating room, there's no way for me
to access the note the lady handed me in line. Not that there would be
any way to read it; the heavy door completely seals off all outside
light, and I can't find a lightswitch.
Suddenly I start to feel cold. I crouch down, hugging my knees to my chest, trying to keep my shivering as inaudible as possible. The door may block light, but it might not block sound. No, take that back - it definitely doesn't block sound. I can hear voices out in the hallway. One of them definitely sounds like the old man in the operating room. "Dammit, Jim, I don't know where she went. That's the third one that's gotten away today. I think we're going to have to change our procedure." The voice that responds is less familiar, but I assume it's the fellow named Jim. "Definitely, Zonk. I will make sure that at least one healthy student from our medical school is present to observe all impregnation techniques from an appopriate position." A third voice, panting, out of breath, much deeper than the first two. "Doctor Zonkwill, Professor Jimmix, you're not going to believe this, we just lost a patient in Operating Room C." It's the doctor who responds. "How do you lose anyone in C? Didn't you clamp her down?" "Well, yes, that's standard operating room procedure. Any female who resists impregnation in room A gets sent to room B, and if she still will not comply we" "Yes, I know the procedure, I wrote the book on it, for Vork's sake. Now how did she get out of those restraints?" "I - I don't know, doctor. I guess since we've been having to send so many of them to C the clamps just wore out or something. I don't know how she managed to slip through them." Heavy footsteps, followed by a fourth voice that sounds suspiciously like the younger man in the operating room. "Doc, I think I know. Look what the female who escaped from A had tucked inside her bra." Oh dear. That can only mean me. That means they have the note. The note I didn't read. "What to do if you are sent to the mines...what to do if you are sent to the janitor's closet...what to do if you are sent to the Church of Vork's exotic brothel...ah, here, what to do if you are sent to the impregnation room. Resist. They will send you to a second room if you don't comply. In the second room, resist the hypnotic trance and run out of the room while the doctor is still in his. Find and enter the Vorkon sperm bank; look for Julia. If you are captured before you can find her, you will be taken to operating room C. To escape the restraints, wiggle your right arm out. It's the only one that's loose enough to escape. Then unlock your left arm using your right hand, sit up to unchain your legs, and run out. Turn right immediately, run to the end of the hall, enter the double doors into the stockroom and steal a labcoat. Then pass yourself off as a lab assistant until you can find Julia at the Vorkon sperm bank." "Well, I guess it's time that we put some of that Vorkon sperm into that resistance spy Julia, then, what do you say, Doctor?" "Sounds brilliant, Professor. We'll have a half-Vorkon bastard in her in no time, and then we'll get her to tell us everything she knows." The footsteps fade, but I'm worried that I've just blown open the entire operation by accident. What should I do?
