On The Run

I decide not to head back the same way that I came. Not only might I encounter the guard, but also I recall that the doors into the medical facility had automatically locked after I was brought through them. So I run down the corridor in the opposite direction.

It's a long corridor, and before I can reach the end of it the doctors will be sure to have sorted themselves out and emerged from the theatre. So I need to find somewhere to hide, and quickly. Seeing a closed door on my left, I try it, hoping that it's unlocked and that there's nobody on the other side.

1. I'm in luck. I find myself in some sort of store cupboard. I close the door.
2. I find myself in a room with a man sitting behind a desk. Well, alien rather than man, I suppose, strictly speaking, though the difference isn't visible to the naked eye. "Ah, you must be my experimental subject," he says.
3. But the door is locked. I resume running.
