Amelia knew she had no choice but to land the airplane on the spaceship,
but Fred disagreed. There was no flat space on the ship long enough for
them to land properly, they were likely to crash. And then there would be
no way they could get off the ship.
He had a point, but what else were they supposed to do? Fred didnt have the answer, so Amelia decided to land on the spaceship anyway. The tiny aircraft began to slowly descend towards the spaceship, which was still accelerating. On a relatively flat open space the plane touched to surface of the spaceship, but immediately bounced off. Fred now decided to help her out. He slowed the plane down and shut off the engines. The plane again bounced off, but after a few bounced it finally slid over the spaceship. Sparks were flying around the nose and bottom of the plane as it continued to slide over the surface of the spaceship. With no control over the plane Amelia and Fred were huddled together in the back of the plane when it crashed into one of the many metallic structures on the ship. They flew through the plane and Amelia heard something snap in her arm. Lying on the floor in what was left of the aircraft she confirmed that she had broken her right arm. The pain wasn't too bad, so when Fred called her name she stood up to see where he was. Fred was in the cockpit. He sat there, as if he was flying the plane, with his hands on the steering wheel. Amelia asked him if he was alright and he said he was. There was some blood on his forehead, but it was just a scratch. Amelia and Fred discussed what they should do now.
