The two wondered how they could walk around the surface when the ship was accelerating. The navigator pointed out a strange, flickering blue field about thirty feet out. Maybe, like in those science-fiction novels, it helped do ... something.
In short order, they found a hatch. It was set in a large 'cabin' with not much around. It opened with a wheel that took both of them to turn.
