You do a double take when you see the image of the person outside. It
looked like a young earth woman similar in age to yourself. You frown.
Hadn't Xorn said there hadn't been any humans around for hundreds of
years? Still, it would be nice to talk to one of your own kind. You let Mavra Zupral in. When you do, she stares at you for a moment. What she says next puzzles you. "So it is true. I wouldn't have believed it." There is a moment of silence until you ask, "What do you mean?" "Seeing another human on the starbase, of course!" was the rather snarky reply. She sees your hurt expression and softens her tone. "Sorry. Didn't mean to have a go." You both go into the lounge/dining area and sit on the sofa. "How did you know I was on the station?" you ask. "I was at the party," she said. Before you could reply she added, "I was in disguise so you wouldn't have recognised me. I do have allies, here." "How did you get onto this starbase?" "Same way you did - the Black Void. Though I encountered on one of the outer colonies. I'm from the past too, though obviously not as far back as you. "Anyway," she continued, "I'm here to offer you help. The people I'm with can offer you protection against any threats. What do you say?"
