"Yes. I saw you talking to him at the reception. I was pleased about that, as he's one of the few who are prepared to be friendly with someone from Earth." Then she does a double take. "What do you mean: did I know him?" she asks.

"I just found his dead body in my bedroom."

"What! Show me."

You show her into the bedroom and show her the body. "There was this electronic device with a message on its screen left next to the body," you tell her. "Here." You pass her the device

"But the screen is blank."

"What!" You take it from her, and sure enough it is.

"Don't worry," she says. "I believe you when you say that there was a message. It was probably engineered to only remain visible for a short while after the device was first picked up. They didn't want you to be able to produce it as evidence. What did the message say?"

You quote: "So ends the life of all that collaborate with humans!"

"This is very bad," she says.

1. "You must call the police."
2. "Don't call the police. Whoever did this must have had help from someone in the police to get into your apartment." "But how could they have brought Xorn's body here without being seen? Especially as I only parted from him a short time ago."
3. "Don't tell the police. They're implicated in this." She motioned me to follow her.
