Kendra the Kender

"Hmm," Kipper said. "Let me think."

Suddenly Kipper flew forward and hurtled down into the pit to splatter into the slime halfway between Amergin and Sarah. His head submerged his little legs kicked in the air frantically as he struggled to escape. Amergin began to laugh.

Sarah didnt understand what had happened at first, then realized he had been pushed. Squinting up, she saw what appeared to be a blonde little girl standing over the edge of the pit. "Who are you?" Sarah called, then noticing the girl's ears realized she must be a kender just like Kipper.

"The name's Kendra," the new kender hissed. "And I'm here to punish this despicable fool Kipper for what he's done to my sister!"

"What in the world did he do?" Amergin asked curiously.

"He stole her pants!" Kendra spat. "Perverted kender! Loathsome wretch! Perish in your own pit of slime for all I care!"

"What about us?" Sarah asked quickly. "We did nothing to deserve such a fate and he stole our pants too! Please help us!"

1. "Hmm, well okay."
