You then notice a small device laying next to one of the body's tentacles. You pick it up and notice there's a message on it. It reads:

So ends the life of all that collaborate with humans!

You gasp. So it was Xorn! And he's been killed because he helped you. But why? And how did his body get into a room you were told only you could enter? Then you remembered what Xorn told you. Only the police could override the system. Did that mean they were implicated in this? Or the accomodation clerk for that matter? This was so confusing.

You go to the lounge and sit on the sofa. Xorn didn't come with you on your journey to your room, you belatedly realise. You were so concerned on finding the room, you hadn't really paid that much attention.

1. Despite your misgavings about the accomodation clerk, you go back and report your find.
2. You ask the computer if you can be put in touch with the local law enforcement.
3. You hear a chime which seems to indicate someone is at the door.
