You could examine either the bedroom or the bathroom next. The former seems more likely to be of interest, so you go in there first. It occurs to you that most of the wide variety of lifeforms on this base must have very different living requirements from your own, but judging by the lounge/dining area this particular apartment has been designed for humanoids.

Sure enough, the bedroom contains a king-size bed that looks very comfortable, a bedside table, a dressing table, a storage cupboard, a chair and a wardrobe. This last reminds you that you must buy some clothes before long, as all you have are those that you are wearing.

  1. Having given the room the once over, you go to look at the bathroom. Perhaps you can even manage to have a shower?
  2. The bedroom does have one unfamiliar feature, though.
  3. But you don't take much notice of the furniture, as your attention is focused on the dead body sprawled on the floor.
