Scarlet has had two girls go on the run. It's a sensational enough story
to spread fairly fast. So he would know then who he ought to contact."
"Mightn't the same thing happen at the next town, unless we can get more modest clothes?" Moula asks. "It's not impossible," Teran admits, "but without the anklets and being that much further out of the city would make it significantly less likely."
