A Message on the Ceiling

Jacques slowly creaks open the first door he reaches in the hallway. In it
appears to be nothing but an ordinary bedroom, cream colour, like the rest
of the house. Their was a queen-sized up against the wall in the center of the room, a large walk in closet in the corner, a small window with it's drapes up above the bed, and a large, body-sized mirror, set up to the far right of him. Something very peculiar caught his eye though. On the ceiling, written in what looked like red paint, was a message. The message's writing was very hard to distinguish. It looked as though the one who wrote it was struggling with his life when he or she made it. But why on earth would someone write a desperate message on the ceiling. Jacques doesn’t even know how they could."Why on earth" thought Jacques grimly. "Maybe that's why. Maybe I'm not on earth anymore." What does Jacques do now?
