Another Vision of the Future?

The Black Void - Episode 2699

It's unlikely that I'll become pregnant, of course, but the way that my luck has been running since I came to this alternative reality - or whatever this place is - I wouldn't bet against it. Well, whatever will be, will be, since the way that I feel means that I'm certainly not repelling Don's advances.

Another hour later, I am asleep in his arms. I dream once again, not a horrifying nightmare like I had earlier in the night, thankfully. However, it's something that gives me plenty of cause for thought when I awake, as it's uncomfortably reminiscent of the premonition that I had at the monastery a few days ago, which I now know proved to be correct in every detail. Could my time spent meditating then have somehow opened some "inward eye", making me liable to dreams predicting my future?

My dream, if it really is a foretelling, must be set at least seven or eight months in the future, for in it I am heavily pregnant.

  1. Don is with me. "I am so sorry, Harry, but there really is no alternative," he says. No alternative to what? Frustratingly, I wake up at that point.
  2. Don is with me. "I am so sorry, Harry, but there really is no alternative," he says. No alternative to what? What he says next throws some light on it.
  3. There is no sign of Don. But I recognise my surroundings: the palace harem quarters. How could that be?
  4. There is no sign of Don. But I recognise my surroundings: this very inn. Why am I still in Artazed?
