The dream (or premonition, if that's what it is) ends abruptly, leaving
me in doubt with it's cryptic message. What, exactly, is there no
alternative to?
I sigh, sensing Don stir beside me, and open my eyes. It's now morning, and the sun is filtering through the room's high window. If my dream really was a vision of the future, it's at least several months off. Still, it's a cause for concern. Like the one at the monastary, it was startlingly realistic. I wonder if I should tell Don about it and my earlier one, but I don't want to worry him unnecessarily. Maybe I will have more dreams in the next few days (or weeks, or months, even?) that will clear up the vague nature of the original dream. Perhaps meditation is the key to unravelling the mystery. I wonder if we could stop off at the Baran Monastary before heading out of town? I'm not sure what kind of reception I'll get, since one of their order was killed when the bounty hunters took me from there, But, the monks just might be able to help me figure out these visions. Don rolls over and kisses me. "Mornin..." he mumbles, still half asleep.
