The Black Void - Episode 2602

I don't know who's responsible for the monk's untimely demise, but my immediate fear is that someone has come here looking for me. Could Maris have gotten free? Could his men have tracked me here? Or is it someone else? It might not have anything to do with me after all, but I can't be sure. Whoever is here means business, judging by the fallen doorkeeper, who is the same man who questioned me when I first arrived [2551]. I shudder and turn away from the gruesome sight.

My first instinct is to flee, as I'm already at the door. But if there's a killer loose in the monastary, I should probably try to raise some sort of warning to protect the others. Quietly as I can, I begin to make my way down the darkened corridor towards the bedrooms.

  1. I reach Jess' room first, and awaken him.
  2. I am too late,,,all the monks have been slain while they slept. I am alone in the monastary with a killer.
  3. As I walk the corridor, someone catches me from behind. They place a hand over my mouth and a blade at my back. "Don't struggle if you want to live."
