Tank and Hose

You freeze. The elevator is coming back up! You hop up on your good leg, and hop your way to the machine room door. You try to open it, but it is padlocked, and you know that you are not going to be able to break it. You lean on the brick wall, placing your weight on your good leg. Then you wait, and hope that the person coming out of the elevator is friendly.

The elevator door opens, and out pops the tall, nearly bald man that you saw on the assembly floor below! He appears to be quite alive, and has both ring fingers. On his back he is wearing something that looks like a metal tank. He is holding a thin rubber hose that has its other end inserted into the tank.

He does not notice you. You are hurting, and want to ask for help. But you are also scared. His job might have something to do with security, and you don't know what the tank and hose thing is. He will not notice you unless he turns around. You might be able to get behind the machinery room. You

1. ask for help.
2. wait quietly and see what he does.
