Asking for Directions

I've no idea where Teran might be by now - he'll no longer be at Maris's, I feel safe in assuming. The only other person who might be both willing and able to help me is Zal. Perhaps I can find someone who can give me directions to his inn?

I notice that there is a royal guardsman standing on the corner at the end of the alley. He currently has his back to me. Walking up to him, I cough to get his attention, hoping that he won't see through my disguise. Since Maris was after the bounty for himself, I assume that he won't have told the guards that I'm in town or how I have changed my appearance.

  1. The guard is helpful.
  2. The guard does not recognise me, but he says that he has never heard of Zal's inn.
  3. The guard sees through my disguise.
