Bounty Hunters

I have faint hope, since Teran is still free, though it sounds like he's been injured. I also realize that it was through the attack of these men that Maris was able to escape, and as I suspected, he was quick to hand me over.

"Hey, the Sultan can wait an hour or two." one of the men says while giving me a crooked smile. "We can have some fun with her first." I inhale sharply and try to back away.

"No, you idiot! The guild specifically said she's not to be mistreated. If the Sultan ever found out, we'd likely find a bounty on our own heads! She's worth 40 gold! Once we have that, you can have all the girls you want."

The other man grunts in acknowledgement, dissapointed. The fight seems to be over, so the two men soon guide me downstairs to the exit. We leave the tavern, heading in the direction of the palace.

1. We arrive at the palace without incident.
2. I manage to break free of my captors and head down a darkened alley.
3. Teran catches up to us, obviously wounded but angry. Combat ensues.
4. We turn a corner, and find ourselves surrounded by a half dozen armed men, led by Maris. "You idiot bounty hunters didn't think I was actually going to let you get the reward for her, did you?"
