Could I Fly Away?

The Black Void - Episode 1850

I decide to investigate a little further. There must surely be some sort of transport link to this place. They must have some way of bringing in supplies, and of getting staff - and perhaps the prisoners too - in and out. There is no sign of a road on this side of the building, but I am standing not far from its corner, so I walk the short distance that will allow me to see more of the surrounding area.

This reveals an airstrip, with an aircraft at the near end, about a hundred yards away from where I'm standing. Could I reach it without being spotted?

  1. Luckily I have a private pilot's licence and know how to fly this make of plane.
  2. Now's my chance to put to use what I've learnt through many hours spent playing Microsoft's Flight Simulator game.
  3. The plane is no use to me. I was hoping to find a road, with perhaps a conveniently unattended vehicle that I could take. Perhaps I might yet find one, if I go round another corner?
