Oddly, the staircase didn't seem to go anywhere. It just seemed to lead
into emptiness.
Looking up the staircase, it was just the same. Fred was nonplussed.
He sat down on one of the comfortable teal sofas lining the room and brooded. Just his luck to get landed somewhere strange like this when he had just met a beautiful woman. How odd it had been that she had claimed they had first met three years ago. Did he have amnesia, or was she deluded? He felt that even if the latter was the case, he would still have liked to get to know Astra better.
