Astra groggily shook her head. She felt utterly horrible and tired but her
training took over. Before she even knew it, she was on her feet and ready
for battle. It was night time. A bright full moon illuminated nothing much. Nothing around but a ditch and a tree-lined road. The road itself was bizarre. It was as if cobble-stones had joined together so one could not see a bump or a seam. A bizarre yellow line went straight down the middle. "Urgh." Astra spun. Velus, an old friend, clambered out of the ditch. Astra helped him up. She brushed out some twigs from his sandy blonde hair and adjusted his green shirt. "Astra! Where are we?" "Don't rightly know."
