very confusing, and she needed all the inspiration she could get. In the morning they prepared to break camp. "Er, what's your plan for dealing with Vaeren?" Belinda asked the boys. "You DO have a plan, I hope?" "Uh, actually no," said Jarlath. He was looking a little embarrased. "You see, no one knows very much about Vaeren. Other than that he's a very nasty and very powerful evil sorcerer, that is. No one knows how strong his castle's defenses are, and no one has survived seeing him in person." "Let me get this straight. The Great Kingdom has sent two teenage boys to defeat an immensely powerful evil sorcerer who no one knows anything about and who has killed everyone who has faced him before. WHY?"
