had sent
us, well that's not entirely accurate. We did this on our own initiative.
As a warrior-in-training
and a wizard-in-training we have to go on a quest at some point before our
respective
guilds will accept us as full members. This is our quest. True,
we didn't have to take on anything as difficult as this, but if we can
bring it
off it will make both our names."
"I see," said Belinda. "We should really have told you this before," said Matthias. "If you want to pull out, we won't blame you." "We wouldn't dream of pulling out," said Carola. "After all, you rescued us, so we owe you. Besides, we're friends now, aren't we? Friends help each other. And you clearly need all the help you can get. Belinda will provide you with another sword-arm, whilst I apparently have increased strength and agility - though I haven't noticed it as yet - which might come in useful." [9426]
