When the man in black removed the stone of wind from his belt, he had more
than one attached. He could just as easily blacken this room as the
princess’s. No, he decided that he should be approaching a door soon.
He’d prepare himself there.
Just as he turned and spotted another door, he heard a crash from the
corner around him. The wind rebounded through the corridor like a
hurricane. The fires that lit vanished as Fred felt an invisible body ram
into his back and push him forward. He tumbled down the flight of steps until he hit flat ground. The flat ground which he knew led to the doors. Disoriented, he got up and felt a wall at random. Bare brick. He felt the other and found the door, turned the handle, pushed, and found himself in a dining room, well lit by large fire places on both ends of the long room and the many candles set up on a table set up and ready to be used. Fred closes the door behind and him and searches for a lock.
