The Never Ending Quest - Episode 91381

Fred slashed his sword through the dark where he guessed the Ninja. With his free hand, he back peddled to the door he was about to exit out of before this attack came.

His hand touched hard wood, but there was no handled. His stomach turned, but he kept moving along, both of his hands moving up and down, searching for different things.

His hand felt a cold metal bar. He turned and pulled on it hard, but it wouldn’t move at all. In the dark, he heard a blade unsheathe.

Fred, still turning the bar, pushed forward. The door opened. He had a second to make out the spiraling staircase in front of him, lit by the occasional lantern hanging from the ceiling. He scurried down them, taking a quick glass as he was about to turn the corner. The man in black was descending after him.

  1. At the first turn, Fred stays his position. There's enough light to fight, and this basterd won't sneak up on him.
  2. Fred continues down and exits out of the first door he comes across. He's at a huge disadvantage right now.
  3. Fred descends down as far as possible, hoping he'll find the castle guards at the bottom. He can't fight a foe he can barely see.
