A smile formed on Fred’s face as he slid the metal bar lock into place. He
stepped back, and prepared for an attack which he didn’t expect to come.
These were thick doors. Neither the man’s saw nor wind had the power to
break through it. Minutes passed. Nobody came. There wasn’t even a shake of the door of someone trying to open it. On the floors below, he could hear furious screams and hard surfaces being hit. The men in the windows weren’t the only foes entering. Fred decided against going down to help them out of fear of being mistaken for the enemy.The roaring and steel clashing continued went on for a while longer, until he ceased completely. He heard crowds of men cheering. Exotica’s forces must have been victorious. Fred paced around the room, weapon ready to strike or block if something appeared from one of the 4 doors in the room. The table was clearly set for use. Someone should be returning. reveal interrupted
