Of Myths, Legends, and Rampaging White Robots!!

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 8995

"My goodness," said the Master, apparently recognizing the figure. "It is a fictional character."

"Uh, from which work of fiction?" Stacy asks, looking at the small female figure that has drawn up short in the distance and is staring at them. "You . . .aren’t some kind of furry fan or something?"

The last part is delivered in a worried tone of voice. Not only is this bearded man a madman, but is he also some kind of . . .deviant? That would be the end of a perfectly crappy day, wouldn’t it!

"Furr . . .that’s a kitsune," the Master snaps, looking somewhat insulted. "It’s a figure of myth from you pathetic planet! Eastern folk lore to be exact has them to be the messenger of the Japanese god Inara! Not some kind of fugitive from humans who have a weird fetish for animals!"

Betty of the brown hair blinks in consternation as the Master adds something about the appalling lack of cultural education nowadays in the Western world but refrains from commenting. It looks like the fox . . .thing in question (who’s now approaching in a rapid clip) wants to talk with them.

Red headed Betty sees the "kitsune" is rather female in appearance and the Kimono does rather add to the Master’s observation that this being being Japanese (or at least related).

Whatever the case, the kitsune is (as she had been back in episode 1729 by YY) a creature that seemed part fox, part human, and all woman. Her snout sported reddish whiskers that twitched in the light of this void, her eyes were a deep auburn, her long, full tail was a light brown with a tinge of violet.

"There you are . . .but some of you are a most unwelcome surprise indeed," the female kitsune barks, sneering as she glances at the Master. "But that said, I can’t be picky about who I save right now, what with it being part of . . .some upcoming Quest business for family."

The evil renegade Timelord and the humans blink at that one, not sure exactly what that is about (beyond the fact that the creature from Japanese folklore seems to NOT like certain bearded people around here).

"But I suggest strongly we table any questions right now and get the Hells to safety before the white robots make their unwelcome appearance and sweep you all up like what I believe has happened to another of your group!" the female says, forstalling any protest or questions. "They’ve become quiet dangerous since a certain wayward Senshi of Time plugged a certain bottle blonde b*tch into this place to act out her own self inflicted Hell."

The Vixen (Vix to her friends) would say more. Perhaps mentioning that she’d been able to fool a few patrols by playing up her obviously belonging due to being a "mythic" creature and such from Japanese folklore (and Akagi at least hadn’t buried herself in "Science!" not know about her nations heritage if nothing else), but a more than slightly disturbed laugh in the distance interrupts things.

A ghostly image suddenly appears: ghastly looking. It’s a Japanese woman in her late twenties dressed in a black mini-skirt and . . . white lab coat. She’d be beautiful if it was not for two things. First, the mad giggling is MOST unsettling.

That and the fact that the ghostly seeming woman has . . .gouged out her own eyes, leaving a bleedling mess, is also ruining anything attractive.

Stacy and some of the others lose there lunch then and there from the sight alone.

"Oh no," giggles the blonde woman, seeming to see them without eyes. "If the trespassers have the bad taste in wanting to come and play with that blue haired doll then they can stay awhile, ne?"

"Kuso!" the Vixen swears under her breath, knowing the fecal matter has just hit the fanblades "Inquirer, we could use an assist here!!"

"Come with me if you want to live!" the fox tailed woman screams, gesturing behind her to the others to RUN! Gesturing for them to Run to some spot behind her before throwing a ball of FIRE of all things at one white robot that suddenly appears from somewhere.

  1. "RUN!!"
