The Never Ending Quest - Episode 8944

"Wow," said Betty-1, staring at the scanner screen. "It does look like The Caves of Steel after all." Indeed, instead of the pastoral woodland of the picture they apparently had materialized in a crowded, enclosed city. Metal walls were visible in the distance, and a metal ceiling not too far overhead. A wide corridor stretched out into the distance, filled with teeming pedestrians, many of whom (understandably) were giving the TARDIS strange looks.

"Um," said Melissa, "is this where we're supposed to be?"

  1. "Of course it is," said the Doctor cheerfully.
  2. "Hmm. Well, it's the right planet, but we seem to have come down a bit off course."
  3. The Doctor looked puzzled. "No," he said. "This isn't right at all."
