Fredrigo D'Honaire...Good or Evil?

He approached Fredrigo. Fredrigo was attempting to reach the master. "You," Fred said. "My brother, the one who is always saying those stupid puns."

Kyllian was not quite prepared for that sort of reception. "Erm, yeah, maybe my sense of humor wasn't the best. But this is a *grave* matter. Get it?"

"You are the same as ever. But I have much changed. I am superior now."

"No you aren't," said Kyllian. "You may have more power. But you can no longer love. So you are not superior."

"I am not blinded by the illusion of love's happiness. Only poewer and pleasure are my goals now."

"Funny, that's not what you thought when you were a noble knight, helping those in need. You never had much power, but you were happy. You weren't like this when you knew Astra."

At the mention of that name, a shadow seemed to pass over Fred's inhuman face. "Astra will be one of us, soon. As shall you," said Fred.

"Then why aren't you attacking me now?" asked Kyllian. Fred hesitated. Then, the Master came.

"What has happened?" he said.

"This impudent child tried to dissuade me from my path."

"He has much strength. He will make a good vampire. Transform him."

"Fred, I know that a part of you is still human. You have too much inner strenghth to be completely vampiric. Please, stop."

Fred started to move toward Kyllian's neck.

"Would Astra like this?" asked Kyllian.

Fred moved in for the kill...
