Fredrigo D'Honaire, once a noble knight, now a vampire, moved in for the
kill... Kyllian was paralyzed with fear. He prepared for a fate worse
than death... Suddenly, an arrow striked through and the vampires looked over. "Andrea!" said Kyllian. "Do you really think that I'd leave you in the lurch?" said Andrea. More vampires came in. "A wooden stake kills a vampire," said Kyllian. "Take the arrowheads off the arrows and shoot the staffs at the vampires!" he said. Andrea killed a number of vampires with her arrows, but they kept coming in. The waters rushed in, and closed in on them. The Master and Fredrigo sneaked into a secret passage, in the wall. Kyllian and Andrea followed them. They found themselves on a ledge overlooking a great river, the sort of high place that dramatic climaxes always occur. A large horde of Vampires followed them through. "Vampires to the left of us, water to the right, here I am, stuck in the middle with you," commented Kyllian. The Vampires grabbed Kyllian and tied him down...
