Antidote?

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 87046

Susan bids Charlie to come and help her, and the boy does gladly. As they work, Susan begins to sing a light tune, which Charlie very much enjoys. She has a beautiful voice.

Suddenly the song stops, and Charlie looks up. Susan is holding a small vial, examining it closely with a look of puzzlement on her face. "Do you know what this is and why it was in my pocket?" she asks, casting her confused eyes up to Charlie.

Charlie did wonder before whether the knight-turned-maiden realized how little sense it made to have the antidote in her possession if she would never know the need for it. "That's just a potion I was working on," he says. "I'm not sure why you have it, but I'll take it off your hands."

He stretches his hand out, and Susan hands the potion to him with a shrug, and gets back to her gardening and singing. Charlie stares at the vial in his hand.

  1. He'll tell Susan the whole story and offer her the antidote when he has finished the potion that will restore Fred.
  2. He'll slip Susan the antidote when he has finished the potion that will restore Fred.
  3. It took a lot of work to make, so he won't throw it out, but he has no intention of ever losing his sweet caretaker.
