The Doctor looked around at all of them, gave a little shrug, and punched some controls on the TARDIS console. Stacy found she was holding her breath, but felt a little less self-conscious about that fact when she realized that both Bettys had their fingers crossed. As the Doctor flicked one last switch, the familiar materialization sound filled the console room. The Master was grinning broadly now, and the Doctor gave a little sigh of relief. It seemed this was going to work!

  1. And, in a moment, they rematerialized outside the VLA control building.
  2. In a moment they had rematerliazed... somewhere...
  3. But suddenly the rotor stopped moving and all the lights died.
